Our community and family feel is a huge part of our school here at Shooting Star Theatre School and we want to make every single child feel welcome. Kindness and care at the forefront of everything we do and teach within our school, we welcome any child into our school no matter their ability, age or need.

At Shooting Star Theatre School we believe that each child’s achievements should be personal to them and all of our additional offerings are entirely optional. Therefore, if children want to take part in competitions, exams or our annual show then they are more than welcome to but if they don’t want to there is no pressure. However, if your child dreams of becoming a performer then Shooting Star is the place to be!

Achievement at Shooting Star isn’t just about gaining a new skill in Acro, mastering your lines or learning a new step in Contemporary; it is also about resilience and understanding that with patience and resilience comes achievement. We recognise all the small achievements that our children make too such as attending all their classes, practicing at home or working hard in class.

We are proud of our fantastic support network here at Shooting Star from our fantastic PTA group who fundraise to help support our school to our wonderful students who are always welcoming to any new faces!

All of our staff are trained to support children with SEND and our Principal Lauren is a Mental Health first aider on hand to support with any mental health queries or worries the children may have.
